Job Summary
Clean up to 12 rooms or 4 cabins daily within the allotted time frame, vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms, cabins, or public areas to lodge standards. Load housekeeping carts with supplies, clean bathrooms and showers, and inspect for safety hazards. Prepare rooms for guest arrivals, respond to special requests, and record room status on work assignment sheets. Handle laundry duties including loading/unloading washers and dryers, ironing, and folding linens. Deliver items to rooms upon request and report lost articles or maintenance problems to a supervisor. Ensure public areas remain free of clutter and vacuumed each shift. Shifts may be day or night, ending when all assigned work is completed. No experience necessary; training provided for committed candidates with excellent attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional attendance
- Open & flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability and stamina to clean up to 12 rooms or 4 cabins per day
- Must be able to repeatedly bend/stoop, frequently push/pull, and occasionally squat, reach above shoulder level, kneel and balance and frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs daily; occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be on feet up to four (4) hours at a time
