Job Summary
Prepare and service guest rooms to Fairmont's exacting luxury standards, ensuring impeccable cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities while replenishing linens, towels, and supplies. Report maintenance issues promptly, handle guest belongings with discretion, and support VIP room preparations with personalized touches. Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas, respond to guest requests with professionalism, and collaborate with Floor Supervisors and Front Office to ensure timely room readiness. Follow deep-cleaning schedules, brand standards, and health, safety, and hygiene regulations including COSHH. Participate in daily briefings and training sessions, support lost-and-found procedures, and uphold grooming and service standards. Work evenings on-site in Knutsford, Cheshire, with 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room presentation
- Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time‐management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Professional, courteous, and guest‐focused attitude
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including manual handling
- Location: On-site in Knutsford, Cheshire, North-West England (not remote)
