Job Summary
Clean customer rooms daily according to operational policies and standards, removing soiled linens, trash, and debris while dusting surfaces and replenishing amenities. Maintain supply carts and vacuum cleaners by stocking supplies, replacing bags, and ensuring quality control of linen closets. Report unusual circumstances, maintenance requests, and lost items to the Executive Housekeeper. Pull damaged linens to the Laundry Department and notify supervisors of stock shortages. Work primarily indoors standing for long periods, tolerating exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Achieve required threshold scores for brand inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling
- Must be available to work weekend shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essential
- Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level needed to accommodate a fast paced environment
- Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to kneel
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to bend
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to crawl
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to squat and crouch
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year housekeeping experience preferred
