Job Summary
Greet guests, clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to achieve required standards of cleanliness and presentation. Replenish guest supplies and advertising materials, restock carts, and ensure proper inventory levels. Perform deep cleaning duties, wash and disinfect telephones, sinks, toilets, and showers, and vacuum entire rooms. Make beds, mop floors, dust furniture, and replace amenities and linen as needed. Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and suspicious persons; ensure keys are secured and signed in/out. Use cleaning agents safely, maintain equipment, and manage unexpected assignment changes. Work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role
- previous hotel experience
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Must be flexible to work various shifts including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
