Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas by executing checkout room cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms and waiting areas, and disposing of hazardous waste per established protocols. Perform morning and evening patient room rounds to inspect rooms, remove clutter, and refresh bathrooms while responding to patient service requests. Stock linens and housekeeping supplies, clean and sanitize equipment, and monitor corridors to keep them free from clutter. Alert nursing personnel immediately when monitoring patients reveals signs of distress requiring intervention.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drivers License (DL)
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license
- Have a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles obtained and reviewed by Human Resources
- Successfully complete the next available, quarterly conducted, in-house training HonorHealth Defensive Driving Course and provide a certificate of completion
