Job Summary
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and orderly home environment while assisting guests with daily needs. Clean and tidy guest rooms and shared spaces, sanitize surfaces, spot mop, and reset materials to standards. Clean kitchen and laundry appliances, and assist with select linen laundering. Keep self-serve meal areas stocked and tidy. Regularly interact with families to assess needs, provide support, and guide them on using kitchen, laundry, and common area appliances. This full-time role reports to the East House Family Experience Manager and the Housekeeping Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant housekeeping experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently
- Must meet healthcare requirements of partner hospital
- Complete biannual CPR training
- Annual fire alarm training
- Understanding and sensitivity apropos to the intersections of ability, class, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religion/spirituality, and sexual orientation
- Ability to push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be available for occasional travel to Tampa Locations
- Must be available for 1 or 2 weekend days
- Must be punctual
- Must be efficient
- Must be eager to learn
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
