Job Summary
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, dining rooms, and public bathrooms daily. Dust, mop floors, and vacuum hallways and the nurse's station. Empty trash baskets, replenish supplies, and polish fixtures, faucets, and mirrors. Clean interior and exterior windows, dust furniture, and maintain order in utility rooms and offices. Thoroughly clean rooms after resident discharge and perform other related duties as directed while reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets.
Required Qualifications
- A Housekeeping Assistant must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English
- A Housekeeping Assistant must be at least 16 years of age
- A Housekeeping Assistant must complete ongoing in-service training requirements
