Job Summary
Perform basic housekeeping support procedures for residents by cleaning and sanitizing all areas regularly, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Maintain and organize cleaning supplies while following the daily cleaning schedule to ensure work is accomplished in a timely, effective, and safe manner. Work varied days and hours based on facility needs, including rotating weekends and holidays, with occasional duties in laundry. Prior experience in a nursing home environment is required.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the work day
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds
- Prior Housekeeping experience
- Experience in a nursing home environment
