Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments, supervising, training, and scheduling staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop cleaning schedules and quality assurance programs to maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds, managing departmental budgets and controlling expenses. Respond promptly to resident and family concerns and participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Hospital, or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of infection control, sanitation practices, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgeting
Desired Qualifications
