Job Summary
Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant at Lovett Care’s Grappenhall Manor Care Home in Warrington (Cheshire). The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, carrying out general cleaning tasks, supporting laundry duties when required, following guidance from the Head Housekeeper, and promoting resident welfare. Requires ability to operate cleaning equipment, follow written/verbal instructions, and communicate effectively with staff; 30-hour contract with shift times 08:00–14:00 and alternate weekends. Required Qualifications
- Previous non-domestic cleaning experience
- Experience working in a care setting would be beneficial
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment in the Home
- Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions and write basic comments
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Display reliability and trustworthiness
- Willingness to undertake laundry duties when required
- DBS check (required)
- Induction and ongoing training provided
