Job Summary
Conduct daily and weekly cleaning of bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities while completing necessary paperwork. Support the laundry service by handling clothing and linens with care, ensuring all tasks are delegated by the Head Housekeeper. Monitor the working environment for hazards and safeguard the welfare of residents you come into contact with. This 30-hour contract involves rolling shifts from 08:00–14:00, working five days over seven including weekends, with a potential start date of July 7, 2026. Applicants must follow all guidance from the Head Housekeeper and demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment in the Home
- Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions and write basic comments
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Display reliability and trustworthiness
- Previous non-domestic cleaning and experience of working in a care setting would be beneficial
