Job Summary
Housekeeping and Laundry Aide in a Long-Term Care environment focused on infection control and resident privacy. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas per procedures; following PPE and infection control protocols; handling and transporting linens and resident laundry; operating commercial washers/dryers; maintaining a clean, organized laundry and housekeeping area; restocking supplies and reporting equipment or safety concerns promptly; ensuring confidentiality of resident information. Hours are 40 per week with a part-time schedule (every other weekend).
Required Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred (long-term care, hospital, assisted living, or hotel)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and infection control procedures
- Dependable attendance and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
