Job Summary
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and living spaces by washing dishes, vacuuming floors, and removing linens. Stock bathrooms with towels and manage laundry loads while picking up trash and notifying maintenance for repairs. Maintain a sanitary environment for residents in our long-term care homes across Ontario. This part-time role involves mixed shifts from 6am to 8pm and requires a negative vulnerable sector check and TB test.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
- A negative vulnerable sector check completed within 6 months of start date
- Completion of a 2 Step TB Skin test within the last 12 months of start date

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
