Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living facility by cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established schedules. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, and surfaces while disposing of trash and hazardous materials following proper waste management protocols. Change bed linens, towels, and room supplies as needed, ensuring clean stock is available throughout the facility. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling hazardous materials and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Interact with residents respectfully while delivering requested items and assisting with minor tasks. Work closely with other staff and departments to complete cleaning tasks efficiently. High school diploma preferred; on-the-job training provided.
