Job Summary
Perform all assigned housekeeping duties in accordance with safety guidelines and infection control practices, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and dining rooms. Disinfect equipment, dust fixtures, and wash walls, while emptying wastebaskets and transporting waste to designated areas. Maintain utility and storage rooms, organize housekeeping carts, and stock supplies, ensuring chemicals remain securely stored. Follow manufacturer instructions when handling cleaning chemicals and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to ensure the facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time, 7 am-3 pm, every other weekend required
- Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
