Job Summary
Respond promptly to guest requests and other departments; identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms; post caution signs; contact departments for urgent repairs; deliver guest requests and set up furniture in guest rooms; remove items from hallways and transport to service areas; clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment; follow safety and security policies and procedures; maintain professional appearance; acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests; communicate clearly; support team to achieve shared goals; perform physical duties including lifting up to 55 pounds and moving carts and equipment; comply with Marriott’s equal opportunity policies; perform other job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Safety training and certifications
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Ability to push/pull a housekeeping cart and equipment
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods
- Clear and professional communication with guests and colleagues
- Maintain professional personal appearance
