Job Summary
Maintain the facility's cleanliness to ensure a safe, clean, and presentable environment. Responsibilities include dusting, dry mopping, trash removal, cleaning bathroom fixtures, walls, and chrome fixtures; disposing of debris; reporting needed repairs, hazards, or accidents; using emergency equipment when necessary; maintaining confidentiality; interacting cordially with residents and peers; participating in required educational programs; and upholding the organization’s mission and customer service standards. Work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with every other weekend; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals; sign-on bonus available and benefits after 30 days. Required Qualifications
- Education: Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
- Experience: Familiarity with cleaning and housekeeping concepts and standards
- Skills/Abilities: Good visual acuity and effective communication
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
- Climbing small ladders, stooping, bending as required
- Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals
