Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and appearance in all hospital areas by following department policies, utilizing proper chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Transport hazardous, regulated, and non-regulated waste to designated areas, move light equipment and furniture, and collect and deliver soiled and clean linen. Calculate total monies received and compile daily register reports while providing excellent customer service to all contacts. Recognize and report potential problems to the supervisor or nursing manager on the floor. Assist in the orientation of new employees. Work full-time hours from 7:00 to 3:30, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. On-the-job training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- minimum requirement of grammar school
- ability to follow written and oral instruction
