Housekeeping Aide

Check assigned floor closets, complete linen requisitions, and stock carts with supplies and chemicals. Maintain cleanliness of corridors, vending areas, elevators, and guest room floors by sweeping, waxing, and removing debris from furniture and upholstered items. Clean designated surfaces, windows, light fixtures, and public areas, including removing dirty linen and glassware. Transport guest laundry, dry cleaning, and requested items to rooms while ensuring security of guest access. Make up cribs and rollaway beds, turn mattress rotation schedules, and handle guest shoe shine requests as assigned. Report furniture damages, maintenance problems, and lost items to the supervisor.
