Job Summary
Cleans and organizes resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, and offices while disinfecting equipment daily and emptying waste baskets. Detail cleans furniture, fixtures, ceilings, walls, windows, and floors, immediately reporting repairs for leaks, broken tiles, or damaged beds. Maintains safety precautions throughout housekeeping procedures and assists with training new staff. Requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, with a high school diploma or HSE preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Able to write legibly
- Takes oral and written instruction well
- Able to complete basic math calculations accurately
- Has demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the elderly or geriatric population
- High school graduate
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays
- Maintains predictable and reliable attendance
- Wearing the appropriate uniform as assigned
