Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist; implement the patient’s individualized treatment plan; work with the rehabilitation team to support patient goals; assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and procedures; instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the physical therapy program. Must hold an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and a valid NYS license; prior Rehab Optima experience is a plus. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in physical therapist assistant
- Valid New York State license
- Good organization skills
- Good communication skills
- Good written skills
