Job Summary
Clean guest rooms and public areas thoroughly, replenish supplies and amenities, and perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Inspect rooms against brand standards before releasing them to the front desk, log lost and found property, and report maintenance needs promptly. Maintain a safe, sanitary environment by following all safety protocols and emergency procedures while ensuring high guest satisfaction scores. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to support hotel operations and attend daily huddles and weekly meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- 1 year experience in the hospitality industry
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Must wear appropriate uniform as prescribed by Opal's policy
- Must maintain personal cleanliness
- Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects
- Have a thorough understanding of all hotel operating procedures
- Be knowledgeable of room types and standards for supplies
- Have a high level of integrity
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity
