Job Summary
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas by making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and toiletries. Restock supplies such as towels, soaps, and tissues in guest rooms and public restrooms while reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Manager. Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner, adhering to security protocols to ensure guest safety and privacy. Perform general cleaning tasks in lobbies, corridors, and stairwells to uphold hotel standards for cleanliness. Requires ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; works in a hotel environment with moderate noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the hotel property for the majority of the work shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment.
