Job Summary
Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift, including pre-cleaning duties, removing trash, and replacing linens. Conduct deep cleaning activities such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, and repainting walls or furniture as assigned. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming while approaching all guest and employee encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety procedures. Work flexible shifts varying by hotel needs; $15 per hour. Full-time eligible candidates receive daily pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, and a 401k plan.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Must comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Must be able to thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
- Must be able to complete all pre-cleaning duties including but not limited to guest supplies cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- Must be able to remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
- Must be able to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner
