Job Summary
Conduct patient-facing cleaning and sanitization using appropriate chemicals, infection control procedures, and the 10 Step Cleaning method. Maintain linen levels by counting inventory, restocking carts to par levels, and delivering clean linens to units, clinics, and couriers. Perform floor care including burnishing, recoating, and bonneting when qualified. Report maintenance issues immediately, manage inventory rooms, and round units with iPads to verify linen needs. Interact professionally with patients, nurses, and staff while following all hospital policies and EPIC standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure, burns, electrical
- Frequent chemical and mechanical
- Occasional: Extreme Temperatures, Noise, Vibration, Wet and/or Humid, Dust, Fumes, Gases, Mists, Odors.
