Job Summary
Clean assigned apartments, suites, or homes and support housekeeping staff in maintaining general facility cleanliness. Vacuum, mop, dust, empty trash, and safely use cleaning chemicals while following work schedules to clean resident rooms without disturbing personal items. Communicate effectively with residents and proactively solve problems, and assist the laundry department and perform other tasks as assigned by housekeeping leadership. Full-time day shift opportunity with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read special instructions and understand labels on cleaning products
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
- Candidates must also complete a QuantiFERON Gold TB Blood Test as part of their pre-hire drug screen and physical
- Illinois Health Care Worker Background Check Act Screening
- National, State, County Criminal Background Checks
- Federal and state exclusion screening (OIG/Medicare/Medicaid)
- Pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana)
- Verification of work authorization
- Applicable registry verification (CNA, Nurse)
- Motor vehicle record view for positions requiring driving
- Receive a yearly flu shot (with medical and religious exemptions available)
