Job Summary
Conduct basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning rooms post-checkout. Ensure all rooms meet brand and IHM standards while notifying supervisors of damages, deficits, or disturbances. Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, and solving issues as necessary, remaining approachable to guests in stressful situations. Schedule is variable based on occupancy, season, and staffing, with flexible weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Variable and unscheduled work hours based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
