Housekeeper Weekend

Conduct day-to-day environmental services and housekeeping functions in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility. Ensure cleaning schedules are followed, coordinate daily environmental services with nursing services, and maintain documentation such as cleaning logs. Perform specific tasks including emptying and sanitizing ash trays, cleaning and polishing furnishings, sanitizing bathroom fixtures, washing windows, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting carpets and walls. Report accidents, incidents, and equipment issues like burned-out lights to your supervisor immediately. Assist with lifting heavy equipment, clean work carts, and perform isolation cleaning procedures using established infection control protocols. Maintain proper storage of equipment and supplies at all times.
