Job Summary
Stock guest room carts with supplies, replace linens, and replenish amenities while maintaining clean hallways, public areas, and guest rooms daily. Perform deep cleaning tasks including changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, and disassembling furniture as assigned. Remove trash and dirty linens, complete pre-cleaning duties, and approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly service-oriented manner. Maintain high personal grooming standards and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality safety and brand regulations. Work flexible shifts varying with hotel needs, with regular attendance required. Located at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Quincy, a Marriott property near Quincy University and the Mississippi River.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
