Job Summary
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and specialty areas while operating equipment and adhering to infection control standards. Distribute linens and supplies to user departments, manage stock levels on nursing floors, and safely package all waste streams. Work in a fast-paced environment using bed management systems such as EPIC, pagers, and phones while moving between tasks with ease. Schedule includes an 8:00am to 4:30pm main shift with 6am to 2:30 rotation available, every other weekend, and three holidays annually.
Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible with schedule days and scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work as a team and move from task to task with ease.
- Must be able to use a bed management system such as EPIC, use of pagers and phones.
- Maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
