Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning apartments and support areas across Kansas City properties. Duties include cleaning floors, vacuuming, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators; cleaning and restocking restrooms; trash removal and debris disposal; containment, cleanup and disposal of bio hazards; and completing required training. Must operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, walk-behind scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums, ladders, and back-pack vacuums; use of chemicals and PPE; read and follow instructions. Physical requirements include standing/walking most of the day with lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, and occasional after-hours work. Education best matched to a high school diploma or equivalent; zero to one year of cleaning experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Zero to one-year experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities.
