Job Summary
Clean and stock guest rooms, hallways, and public areas per shift assignments, ensuring sparkling cleanliness and organized workspaces. Greet guests by name upon arrival and throughout their stay, maintaining a friendly demeanor while performing duties. Complete pre-cleaning tasks such as stocking supplies and folding linen, followed by thorough room cleaning and restocking. Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, and guest laundry as directed by the supervisor. Adhere to all operational checklists, shift handover reports, and uniform standards. Work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effectiveness at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Desire to serve all guests
- Age of 18 years or older
- Willingness to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time
- Ability to clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
- Ability to provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Ability to stoop (bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist)
- Ability to climb (ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like)
- Ability to balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces)
- Ability to kneel (bending legs at knee to come to rest on one or both knees)
- Ability to crawl (moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet)
- Ability to stand (remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time)
- Ability to walk (moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another)
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers)
- Ability to lift (carrying certain housekeeping items such as linens, trash, or vacuums)
