Job Summary

Conduct daily cleaning of common spaces and resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain stocked housekeeping carts with properly labeled chemicals, ensure resident safety by locking storage areas, and use wet floor signs in public zones. Assess resident well-being, communicate observed changes to management, and report special problems, safety hazards, or maintenance needs immediately. Collect and empty trash while following infection control techniques and emergency protocols. Maintain emotional composure, listen to resident or family concerns, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4:00pm at Town Village Vestavia Hills.

Required Qualifications

Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
Ability to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, kneel, push, pull, and twist using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time
Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals
Ability to read, speak, and write in English
Must be able to follow proper procedures and practices
Must have a natural affinity for seniors and a genuine concern for their well-being
