Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all common spaces and resident rooms. Must follow established procedures, have a genuine affinity for seniors and communicate changes in residents to management. Duties include dusting wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards and furniture; vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, sofas, and chairs; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms; managing chemicals safely; reporting safety hazards to supervisors; and supporting education programs and team meetings. Requires ability to lift at least 40 pounds, work with hazardous chemicals, and contribute to a team-oriented, resident-centered senior living environment.
Required Qualifications
- experience in assisted living
- experience in housekeeping (preferred)
- English speaking required
- ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
