Job Summary
Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, and bathrooms; wipe down walls, phones, and workstations; vacuum, remove trash, and dust. Clean the dining room and patient rooms daily for both occupied and unoccupied spaces. Occasionally wear PPE to clean and disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids. Maintain the Center at Foresight building in a pristine state while adhering to physical requirements to lift 15 lbs, crawl, and bend. Applicants must have at least one year of housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility, follow instructions, and pass a background check and drug test. Weekends may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility
- Must be able take instruction and follow directions
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to work as a team or independently
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs, and crawl
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
