Job Summary
Maintain the building in its pristine state by mopping and disinfecting floors, wiping down walls and workstations, and vacuuming. Clean dining areas and patient rooms daily, including unoccupied spaces, while wearing PPE to disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids. Perform trash removal and dusting tasks throughout the facility. Full-time role (30-32 hours/week) with variable days including weekends and holidays, scheduled 8am-4:30pm. Requires high school diploma, valid fingerprint clearance, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC)
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and the ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Ability not to pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace
- Full time availability (30-32 hours per week), variable days including weekends and holidays, typical hours 8am-4:30pm
