Job Summary
Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, and bathrooms; wipe down walls, phones, and work stations; vacuum, remove trash, and dust. Clean the dining room and patient rooms daily, both occupied and unoccupied. Wear PPE as needed to clean and disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids. Perform these tasks while bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs. Applicants must be able to follow directions, work independently or as part of a team, and pass a background check and drug test. Weekend flexibility is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility
- Must be able take instruction and follow directions
- Must be a self-starter and can work as a team or independently
- Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs, and crawl
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Flexibility to work weekends
