Job Summary
Maintain the home to a consistently high standard of cleanliness, including daily dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and managing laundry and linens. Keep closets and household spaces organized while assisting with changing linens and preparing guest spaces. Monitor supplies to communicate when cleaning products need replenishment and help with occasional deep-cleaning projects. Provide weekly support at the client's New York City residence under construction and offer overnight dog care when the Principal travels. Work respectfully around the family's three Labradoodles and maintain discretion while building a long-term relationship with the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience working in a similar private-household or luxury residential housekeeping role
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards of cleanliness
- Warm, discreet, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable working around dogs
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Flexible and willing to assist with additional hours when needed
- Comfortable adapting to changing household needs, travel schedules, and guest activity
- Interested in a long-term position and growing with the Principal as the role evolves
