Job Summary
Housekeeper needed in a nursing facility. Responsible for daily housekeeping tasks, cross-training to assist Laundry, ensuring clean and safe resident areas, adhering to regulations for nursing facilities, and providing a friendly, confidential environment for residents. Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor at Courtyard Care Center in San Jose, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed
- Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
- Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
- Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
- Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
