Job Summary
Housekeeper in a senior living community responsible for cleaning resident apartments and common areas, stocking supplies, laundry, deep cleaning, and maintaining infection control and resident confidentiality. Responsibilities include ordering and monitoring supplies, cleaning sinks/showers/toilets, stocking soap and paper products, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning resident apartments, sorting/laundering/drying resident laundry, folding/hanging linens, cleaning equipment and linen areas, bed-making, assisting with housekeeping duties as needed, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and applying infection-control procedures. Requires 6 months of housekeeping or environmental services experience in healthcare, a High-School diploma or equivalent, and English proficiency. Schedule offers Part-time shifts (5pm-10pm weekdays and 2pm-10pm weekends) at Ovation Heartwood Preserve, Omaha, NE. Benefits eligible at 30+ hours/week. See posting for more details.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months housekeeping or environmental services experience in a healthcare facility, medical office, or hotel required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Must have experience interacting with residents of this nature
