Job Summary
Clean vacant apartments for move-in and occupied, respite, and guest apartments weekly using the Company Checklist. Detail clean halls and common areas as scheduled or requested, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness in the community. Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms organized, cleaning dryer lint traps daily and equipment weekly while managing cleaning supply inventory. Report any problem areas or needed supplies to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Maintain a warm, respectful demeanor while performing physical tasks throughout the shift. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm in our elegant Kansas City senior living community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Senior living or hospitality background a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage your time independently
- Warm, respectful demeanor around residents and families
- Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred
