Job Summary
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize areas as assigned, moving furniture and equipment as necessary. Keep harmful chemicals safely stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance with building policies. Use proper body mechanics during cleaning and move furniture, utilizing supplies as needed to care for all housekeeping equipment. May assist with various Caregiver duties as needed. Suite Living Senior Care of Little Canada operates a 32-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care facility. This role requires a minimum of a High School Diploma, with previous experience as a Housekeeper or Caregiver in a Senior Living community strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Must have excellent knowledge of all housekeeping duties and expectations
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards required
- Must be respectful and compassionate towards the geriatric population
- Must have excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with residents, staff members, and families
- Must have physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper strongly preferred
- Experience in a Senior Living community strongly preferred
- Previous experience as a Caregiver strongly preferred but not required
