Job Summary
Provide housekeeping services in an assisted living facility: clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas, change bed linens, empty trash, clean windows, and polish surfaces. Follow infection control policies, report maintenance needs, replenish supplies, and interact professionally with residents. May move furniture to maintain cleanliness; collaborate with staff to coordinate schedules; uphold resident privacy and confidentiality; adhere to safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals/equipment per guidelines. No direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Required Health Screening, TB Clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance
- First Aid/ CPR Certified
- Special skills needed to meet client needs [California Code of Regulations Sections: 85065(f)/87411(g)]
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work, preferably in health care or senior living setting
