Job Summary
Clean and reset guest bedrooms and bathrooms using provided chemicals and equipment safely. Maintain hallways and common areas as assigned, while spotting carpets for the hotel's care program. Perform duties like cleaning unexpected spills, stocking linen storage rooms, and completing room assignment sheets. Report maintenance issues to the supervisor and respond promptly to guest complaints or special requests. Greet guests with a smile, ensure guest privacy during room entry, and communicate effectively with coworkers. Adhere to safety protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies regarding keys and lost items.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 30bs on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- hospitality experience is a plus
- Basic communication skills, both verbal and written
