Job Summary
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards. Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries as needed. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean hard floor surfaces thoroughly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management. Adhere to safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Ensure guest requests are addressed efficiently and courteously. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to uphold high cleanliness standards. You must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. while performing the duties of this job. The position requires that you can frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items
- Basic understanding of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- You must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., while performing the duties of this job
