Housekeeper

Maintain residents' rooms and common areas, follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, disinfect equipment and surfaces, clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards, dust and polish furniture and equipment, and effectively relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees. Reads, writes, and speaks English and demonstrates compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
