Housekeeper

Housekeeper duties include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, hallways, common areas, and offices with tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping, dusting, polishing, and buffing. Maintain cleanliness following safety, infection control, and fire-safety policies; report abuse/neglect to supervising staff; protect resident confidentiality; arrive on time; move furniture as needed; clean floors (including stripping and waxing), mirrors, windows, and trash receptacles; ensure all areas are maintained per schedule and assist in evacuations when required. This role requires physical ability to lift, bend, push/pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks, along with basic computer skills and the ability to read/write/speak English; occasional extended/hours work, weekends or holidays may be required; ability to relate to and care for ill, disabled, or elderly residents and work with various team members.
