Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, empty trash and recycling bins, and launder linens as needed while following established schedules and safety precautions. Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions and report any maintenance issues or resident needs changes to the supervisor. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, adhering to infection control protocols. This role supports Cogir Senior Living's mission to enrich the lives of residents across communities in 11 states.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting (hotels)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment
