Job Summary
Clean and tidy guest rooms, public areas, and designated spaces by dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and making beds. Thoroughly sanitize bathrooms, refill toiletries and linens, empty trash bins, and sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Report maintenance issues, lost items, and respond to guest requests while maintaining security standards and respecting privacy. Work independently to complete assigned rooms and organize housekeeping carts. This role requires previous housekeeping experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties include extended standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to chemicals and extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Attention to detail, thoroughness and knowledge in proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned rooms, organize housekeeping carts, and all other assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Extended standing and walking
- Climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling
- Lifting to 50 lbs
- Following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus
