Job Summary
Performs environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition within a hospital setting. Inspects and cleans all assigned areas including patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices and equipment; reports problems to the supervisor. Replenishes consumables (paper towels, toilet paper, soap) and makes beds following established cleaning procedures. Maintains and operates cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, autoscrubbers, buffers) and ensures safety and sanitation compliance. Works scheduled 40 hours per week in a non-exempt environment; interacts professionally with guests and staff and follows safety and sanitation regulations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
